Return & Refund Policy

Return Window

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. After 14 days, returns will not be accepted unless the item is defective or misrepresented.

Items Eligible for Return

• Items that arrive damaged or broken
• Items significantly different from the listing description or photos
• Items that are counterfeit or misrepresented as Afghan-origin
• Wrong item received

Items NOT Eligible for Return

• Perishable goods (dry fruits, spices) once opened
• Custom-made or personalized items
• Items that have been worn, used, or washed
• Items returned without original packaging where packaging is part of the product
• Items where the buyer simply changed their mind (unless EU 14-day cooling-off period applies)

How to Request a Return

1. Email returns@afghandiaspora.store with your order number
2. Include photos of the item showing the issue
3. Our team will respond within 2 business days
4. If approved, you will receive return shipping instructions
5. Once the return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after the return is received and inspected. Stripe processing times may vary by bank.

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item was damaged, defective, or misrepresented — in which case the seller covers return shipping.

Seller Responsibility

Sellers on AfghanDiaspora.store are responsible for honoring this Return Policy. Sellers who repeatedly fail to accept legitimate returns may have their accounts suspended. AfghanDiaspora.store may, at its discretion, issue refunds directly and recover the amount from the seller's future payouts.
